Veronica Campbell-Brown(VCB), inspired to compete by Merlene Ottey and Donald Quarrie, she did herself and her country proud by becoming one of Jamaica's most decorated athletes. She has the distinction of being the first Jamaican woman to win an Olympic sprint title when she won gold at the 2004 Athens games in the 200M. Another of Jamaica's embassadors that represented the country with class, dignity, grace, and humility. She earned numerous medals over her remarkable career, 8 Olympic, 11 World Championships, 5 Commonwealth, 2 World Indoor Championships, 2 Continental, 4 World Athletics Final, 2 World Relay, 3 World Junior Champs, 4 CAC Champs, 8 Carifta and 2 World Youth Champs medals.
