Asafa Powell

Asafa Powell has a personal best time of 9.72s and is the 4th fastest man of all time. Asafa holds the record for the most sub-10 second performances dipping below said mark 97 times. He was also a two time world record holder, first setting a record of 9.77s in Athens on June 14, 2005 and again in Rieti Italy on Sept 09, 2007 clocking a time of 9.74s. He has to his credit five (5) World Championship medals, a gold medal from the Olympics, a two time Diamond League 100M winner, three (3) Commonwealth medals, a silver medal from the World Indoor Championships and a silver medal from the Pan American Junior Championships. One of Jamaica's finest embassadors.
