Michelle Freeman is a retired Jamaican sprinter and 4x100m Olympic bronze medalist, earning her medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics as part of the Jamaican relay team. A 100-meter hurdles specialist, Freeman was an exceptional junior and collegiate athlete. In 1988, she was awarded the Austin Sealy Trophy for the most outstanding athlete at the CARIFTA Games. Freeman had a successful college career at the University of Florida, where she was inducted into the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame as a "Gator Great" in 2011. Known for her versatility and speed, Freeman made significant contributions to Jamaica's sprinting success on the international stage.
