Janieve Russell is a Jamaican sprinter who won a bronze medal in the 4x400m relay at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She has earned three silver medals at the World Championships: in the 2019 mixed relay, and in the 4x400m relays in 2022 and 2023. Russell has been a standout competitor since her junior years, securing numerous medals at international competitions. At the senior level, she has continued to shine, earning medals at the Commonwealth Games and World Relays. Known for her speed and consistency, Russell has become one of Jamaica’s top athletes in the 400m hurdles and 4x400m relay events, maintaining her place as a key contributor to Jamaica's success on the world stage.
